My Thai is a little rusty, but I think it means Hello or Goodbye, just like Hawaiian Aloha means Hello and Goodbye.
I have a question, and I know someone here probably knows the answer. At the end of 'its a small world' one of the signs says:
SA-WAHT!
DEE KRAHP
There is a good picture of it by Lou in the Photo Gallery: its_a_small_world_20

What language is this saying good bye in? Or is it a hidden message, because my wife and I always get a good laugh out of it.![]()

Many people have thought that this was a play on words (and even complained to Cast Members), but JC is correct in his translation of it.
