The Tower of Terror is 199 feet high at Walt Disney World because of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations that require a fixed red light beacon to be added to the top of any 200-foot or taller building. Imagineers thought that the light would take away from the hotel's 1939 theme.
Yep, he's right... no light on top. It's also the tallest ride at WDW so that shows that no rides have a light on top so airplanes don't hit them.Quote:
