| Where can Walt be found? The recent talk about a possible Walt animatronic got me thinking about where in WDW Walt can already be "seen", in various forms. In what locations can we catch a glimpse of an image of Walt or a quote by Walt? Here's the list I came up with. Can you add any more to it? Magic Kingdom: Partners statue - Walt holding Mickey's Hand Window on Main St, USA, just above the ice cream parlor Roy & MInnie's statue - the dedication plaque tells us that WDW is a tribute to the philosophy and life of Walter Elias Disney Caroussel of Progress - narrator talks about Walt and how this was his idea from start to finish Disney Dreams Come True parade - a CM is playing Walt drawing Mickey Mouse while riding a bike TTA - the Metro Retro historical society presents Walt's vision of the future community of tomorrow Epcot: American Adventure lobby - one of the quotes on the walls is by Walt American Adventure film - Walt is seen briefly, possibly an episode of Disneyland Honey I Shrunk the Audience - Walt is listed as a previous recipient of the Inventor of the Year award Spaceship Earth - One of the three TVs the family is watching shows an episode of Disneyland with Tigers jumping on Walt's Desk Disney/MGM: One Man's Dream (duh) Stars & Motorcars Parade - the commentators mention him "With little more than $40 and a dream..." | Oh a couple more in Disney/MGM: Backlot Tour - the tourguide shows us Walt's personal plane that was used while scoping out locations for the Florida Project Magic of Disney Animation - we see a recreation of Walt's office. |
