You must be a fellow Irishman. My dad came to the states from Kilrush, County Clare when he was 17. My mom is 100% Irish as well but is a 7th generation American. (So i think this makes me 50% first generation American) Most of my extended family are still in County Clare and we try to visit every other summer...lovely, just lovely !

Co. Clare is a lovely place. just north of where my family comes from originally, Co. Kerry. the whole west coast of Ireland is beautiful.

When I was little my dad and mum use to tell me that the Irish dolls on IASW were my second cousins, and that they had heard Disney was looking for more naughty irish girls to turn into wooden dolls....which in retrospect, was really a quite frightening (yet effective) way to keep me on the straight and narrow

My mum traces some of her family back to Co. Kerry (the others are from the Isle of Man)...wonder if you are my long lost cousin?
