Expedition Everest?
OK, it's been a few days and nobody has gotten it, so I'm going to repost the question, this time with a hint.
I made the Imagineers reroute two major thoroughfares so I could be built.
hint: Most times, moving major paths has an impact on animals, but I became a home to many a critter.
Ergh ..
Kilimanjaro or Kali River?
You're dead if you aim only for kids. Adults are only kids grown up, anyway.
10 thousand years, will give you such a crink in the NECK!
Yes! It is Splash Mountain.
Both the Walt Disney World Railroad and the original MK parade route (which doubled as primary access to BTMRR) crossed directly through the space that is now used by SM. Both were temporarily moved and/or closed during the construction, and were given new, permanent routes upon the ride opening. The Railroad moved to the west during construction (and up in the air after opening) and the parade route moved to the south, where it remains today.
You're up, LittleMermaid!

Space Mountain?

I do believe in fairies, I do, I do!
Yep you got it! Space mountain was originally designed to take you outside before dropping you into the buiding but it was decided it would ***** up the forced perspective of the building so they did away with it.
You're up Jaymie!
