Disney World Puzzle Adventure!

Hey everyone, thought I'd post a little free time project of mine here incase you didn't have enough WDW triv in your life
. Expect new puzzles to be added pretty frequently. I'm posting the first two to start. The answer to Day 1 is in the Day 2 post.
Trip Report Day 1: Room Number
The mysterious adventure begins when you check-in at the Pop Century Resort. The Cast Member at the front desk gives you your room key and a slip of paper. As you turn back to ask for your room number, he has vanished. You read the slip of paper, and realize it is a challenge to find your room. It reads:
“Dear VIP,
To claim your room and all its niceties,
You must know your souvenirs, you need to price these.
Pick the least expensive from each set,
And your room number is what you will net.
Room # ABCD
A
Standard size Cinderella Castle postcard = 7
Splash Mountain Pressed penny = 5
B
Dole whip float = 3
Turkey leg = 1
C
Single character animator sketch, uncolored = 6
‘Build Your Own Lightsaber’ sword = 3
D
Non-limited edition, one-piece character trading pin = 1
Mickey Antenna topper = 8
Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin Die-cast ride vehicle = 9”
What is your room number?

Trip Report Day 2: The Room Safe
As you make your way to room 5338, you heard murmurs among Cast Members that "it's gone, it's missing, the resort won't last for very long without it!." Of course, you are at Disney World, nothing too major could go wrong, so you enter your room and start to unpack.
As you head into the sink area to unpack your toiletries, you spot a 'Boggle' tray with letter blocks upon the sinkside. A note next to it reads:
"Do you like the new room safe? It's alphabetically secure!
Just enter 5 names and you can open its door.
Choose from eight Disney characters from some Disney World place,
Found in this Boggle cube using lines that you trace.
There's something inside on which your whole trip depends,
And all other vacationers, both your foes and your friends."

Can you find five of the eight characters from Disney World attractions and shows inside this Boggle cube and open the safe? Can you find all eight? You can start anywhere and move one letter at a time left, right, up, down or diagonal, but you may not use the same letter twice in the same name. Good luck!

Day 2 Answer: Owl, Nemo, Iago, Timon, Simba, Dumbo, Big Al, and Mowgli
Trip Report Day 3: Equation Vacation
You easily spot the characters and crack the oversized room safe. Inside you find a 2 foot long metal spike and a card with writing on it, it reads.
"Congratulations! Not on opening the safe, but on taking possession of the object that is slowly shutting Disney World down and will get you in Orlando County jail for theft! Perhaps, though, your math skills will save you. The answer to this equation is what the rod here belongs to, and it's more important that most people think. Return it, and maybe you'll still have time for a Dole Whip.
........................................
(M x I) - C^K + E
..........Y.............................
M= Mice clones OR Happy haunts
I= DisneyQuest floors
C= Monorail trains
K= Figures in the "Sharing the Magic" statue at MK
E= Riders to a Primeval Whirl car
Y= Toboggan Racers lanes
What at Disney World does the spike belong to? The ^ symbol means that the 'K' is an exponent.

(999 x 5) - 12^2 + 4 / 8 = 4855 / 8 = 606.875?
Adam
I see they're loading our navigator R2-D2

and then we'll be on our way. So sit back, relax and enjoy the flight...

Well, it looks like you did the math right, Adam!
606.875 (606 7/8) happens to be the hat size of the Sorcerer's Hat at Disney's Hollywood Studios. So, I think the spike belongs to the Sorcerer's Hat.

Day 3 Answer: 999 Cloned mice (or happy haunts) x 5 floor to DisneyQuest - (12 monorail trains ^ 2 figured (Roy and Minnie) + 4 Rider on Primeval Whirl, all divided by 8 Toboggan Racer lanes = 606 7/8, the location is Mickey's Sorceror's Hat at Disney's Hollywood Studios (606 7/8 is the hat size).

Trip Report Day 4:
The lightning rod to the Sorceror's Hat? How bad can that be, there's a hundred thousand others all over property. But you decide to play it safe and return it to the Studios. Out at the Pop Century bus stops, you arrive just as a bus labeled "VIP Studios" pulls up in front of you. VIP, well, you were called that already today, so you hop on.
Whisked away at 70 mph, it's obvious you aren't going to the Studios, at least in one piece. "Have you seen the Seven Seas Lagoon yet? From the bottom of it??," laughed the maniacal bus driver. "You've got a few minutes still, see that marquee?" You spot a sign where the advertisements usually are, with a name you are sure you've heard before written out in funny letters. "Tell me the name of six of the nine Disney World characters who autographs appear on that sign and da boss says we can go to the Studios instead of off the Contemporary Resort dock."

There's not much time! Name 6 of the 9 meet and greet characters who actual autograph letters appear in the picture. Hint: Two associated characters appear in the first word and two appear in the last word, and one other letter is an "official" autograph from a character who does not write.

Trip Report Day 5 - Very-close vanes
"Here's we are!" spouted the devious bus driver, almost disappointedly, "Epcot. You need to go pick up something first from World Showcase. Here's your Epcot ticket." The driver hands you a card with a photo of five weather vanes and an instruction:
"Saving your own life is hard work, here's a simple one to get into Epcot. Tell the far left turnstile attendant three of the five specific locations you'll find these weather vanes at, then go pick up a package at World Showcase, you'll need it later."

Can you get into Epcot to continue your quest? Can you name three, four, or even all five of the structures that these weather vanes perch on top of?
