Overheard at Disney World

Okay - I'm not sure if this qualifies as a game in the technical sense - but reading the stupid question game reminded me of some really strange things that I've heard people say or ask in WDW - sort of "Here's Your Sign" (Comedian Bill Engvall) moments. Let me know if I should post elsewhere but I'll start off - I'm sure the CM's out there could really share some doozies.

Overheard in Hollywood studios - a mother to her child -" This is NOT the place to be playing around!"

(My family stopped dead in our tracks and started laughing.)

The all time classic, gets me every single time and probably really irks the CM's:\\

"Excuse me, what time does the three o'clock parade start?"

Yep, even I have heard and been amazed by this comment. Like WDW operates on an alternate time schedule. Bizarre, funny and kind of sad.

For years and years I've heard guests explaining to their families where Walt's apartment is located in Cinderella Castle in a know it all voice adding this is where his family use to stay. Me:

In the pre-show for Rockin' Roller Coaster:

10-year old-ish girl: "Daddy, what ride is this?"

Dad: "Calm down, its not a ride, we are just going to see the band..."

Pretty sure that kid has been in therapy ever since...

Heard someone say 'That's Walt Disney frozen under that statue' right in front of the castle at MK....followed by 'wow really? i'm gonna go touch it.'

That is absolutely amazing and totally sounds like something my Dad would've said to a younger me!!

While standing in line at TOT, my husband & I heard a young British boy, while pointing to one of the busts in the lobby, ask his father..."Daddy, is that Jesus?"...Neither of us know what the father's response was because we were laughing hysterically yet discretely : )
