but I meant Why is the theme medieval fair? Why did they pick this theme?
Because that is the time period that the Cinderella story is set. Cinderella Castle acts a gateway to Fantasyland, and along with the Carrousel, sets the atmosphere of a medieval tournament.

There is something to do with Disneyland that lead them to have the Medieval theme here in MK. Do you know what happened in DL? Cause that event lead to this theme.

why yes, it had something to do that. ^_^
I think I have an idea...
They put them up as temerpary structures when building attractions and such but eventually the tents stuck with the rides and became part of the the theme.
