Goofy on Main Street

Does the Goofy statue sitting on the park bench in front of Tony's do anything?? I sat there for awhile last week because someone told me he does something.

He does talk, but the last few times I've gone he hasn't talked during the day. Only at night.

When you enter the MK underneath the train station you'll be in the town square where the flag pole is. Tony's is the restaurant on the right as you enter town square and Goofy sits on one of the park benches out front.

Also didn't Oscar Meyer at one time Sponsor the restaurant before it was Tony's years ago? I seem to remember my Dad eating breakfast there but that was back in the 70s.

Has there been times where the statue of Goofy has disappeared? The last time my wife and I went (September 2008) we looked for the statue but couldn't find it. We had our pictures taken with him the trip before and were surprised not to see him there. Glad to hear he is there now.

He went missing?
I was there August 2008, and I think he was there, I was stood outside Tony's watching Spectromagic at the time.
If he did talk, (and if he was there) I wasn't aware of it....

I sat there for a while too in August 2007 because I believed that he talked lol...didn't hear anything.

When we went in July 2009, I had my fiancé sit with Goofy for a picture...right after this was taken, Goofy started talking and scared the hello of him--It was awesome!!
