WDW put in air conditioning units in the lions area at the Animal Kingdom, so that the lions wouldn't hide in the shade and out of guest sight, but forgot to put A/C in restaurants and shops for humans initially believing guests would enjoy the Jungle experience. Disney started retrofitting those buildings for A/C within a year.

Walt Disney was very fond of the art of M.C. Escher. This is reflected after the refurbishment of Haunted Mansion, where a scene that reflects Eschers' lithograph Relativity was added to the attraction

Disneyland in California is actually home to dozens of Feral cats. Every night cats patrol the park and have been doing so since about 1959. The park officials themselves adore the cats due to their ability to keep themice population down. There are permanent feeding stations in the parks set up for the cats that are hidden and blend in with the environment. In order to help keep the cat population down Disney spays them and puts them up for adoption.
