    New York's World Fair

General Electric's Pavilion, under a huge flattened dome suspended from spiral pipes, presented "Progressland" depicting the history of electricity from its beginnings to the mighty bang of nuclear fusion. Its multi-part show used a unique theater. Separate auditoriums, each holding 250 people, circle the various stage set in the middle, and stop to watch life-sized 3-D audio-animatronic people act out the story of electricity in the home from the 1890's to the present. After viewing the show inside, guests went upstairs to view Progress City (Walt Disney's 160 foot scale model for EPCOT). Admission was free and each show lasted 45 minutes.

I was thinking the same as Amanda. In the movie and TT they say -about 150yrs-. So -about 152- would be a fair figure.

Epcot has two entrances. The original entrance is convenient to Epcot's 162-acre parking area and the Epcot monorail station. The International Gateway entrance opened in 1990 near the France pavilion in World Showcase.

    Double duty (sorry!)

Spaceship Earth: Early descriptions (~1986) list its size as 164 feet in diameter; while later info (~1996) note it to be 165 feet in diameter.

(The Guru Lou states 164 feet - so that MUST be correct!!)
