Cinderella Castle is indeed 189 feet tall, but it is not the tallest structure in the Magic Kingdom. That honor belongs to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, at 197 feet!

Ok here are some more facts about those heights in FrontierLand. You know how I love WDW's numbers...

BTMRR is 197' 6" above sea level, but the actual structure is just under 100'. Right next door Splash's mountain top is slightly higher than BTMRR but Splash is only 86' tall, of course that is just th structure. If you used the height above sea level it would be over 200' tall, a 'no-no' in the height world of WDI.

A working studios, Disney MGM is themed to resemble Hollywood in the 1930's, even down to the Hollywood Towers Hotel, which towers more than 190 feet above the park.

This may be a stretch, but on an online guide about Mission:Space several factoids about a trip to Mars are described ... including an extreme surface temperature of down to -193°F (-125°C).

"Disney: the First 100 Years" is a well-written, informative and fun book to read. You get the entire story of the Disney Company on 198 pages (filled with great photos), and will undoubtedly find it fascinating.
