    Thinking-cap and way-back-machine time..

Which of the following was NEVER part of the Universe of Energy?

    1. Rain falling from the ceiling.
    2. Betty White.
    3. The scent of "damp earth."
    4. A drowning dinosaur.
    5. Hoover Dam

Incorrect. The dinosaur that spits water into the vehicles as they pass on the right side before they reach Ellen used to be bobbing up and down "drowning" in the original show (soon to become Energy!).

To elaborate, the original show tried to show that Dead-things equal future Fossil fuels - so the Dino was stuck in the pit about to drown and then deacy and become a fossil fuel - after passing the Elasamasaurus (snake thingy) and entering the final cave, if there's enough light to see, you can see there are dinosaur bones in the side walls also ready to become future Energy sources. The whole idea sorta progresses from the beginning to the end of the scene.

Incorrect. Betty White played Ellen's mother is a segment of the new show that was removed from the final version during test and adjust. She gave Ellen the lightbulb that she gives to Einstein at the end of Jeopardy. The announcers voice talking about the lightbulb as a parting gift had to be added because no one understood why Ellen gave him the lightbulb without the previous scene involving Betty White.

By process of elimination, I'd say 1) Rain falling from the ceiling.

Incorrect. Rainfall was a primary aspect of the original diorama sequence in the Universe of Energy. It fell from a giant sieve attached to the roof of the scene and the outline of the original mechanics is still visible in the current show. Rain fell over the main marsh area, cascaded down across from the T-rex scene, lighting was supposed to have struck and knocked over the log that looms over the vehicle pathway, the aforementioned dinosaur is drowning in the pool of water, and finally the Elasamasaurus was splashing around throwing water about in its pool - long before Ellen ever asked for the help of a park ranger. The water tooks its toll on the animatronics - destroying several of the original dinosaurs which are no longer included in the show and also had adverse effects on the vehicles so it was eliminated in the 1996 rehab.

Correct! The Hoover Dam never was or is in the Universe of Energy - other dams are featured and people assume it's the Hoover - but alas, it's not.

    You're up Harry!

    Cool My question

Sorry! bad commercial/porno/casino virus hit my computer yesterday and I couldn't open the internet.

    Here's my shot:

How many (and which) of the countries in WS have wine tastings?
