Yes, the entire Journey into Imagination pavilion was not open in Oct., 1982. I was just counting the pavilion as an attraction, just like The Land is only counted once, even though there were three rides/shows associated with the pavilion. In his book, Lou only counts each pavilion once in determining how many attractions were open on opening day. I only counted the World Showcase pavilions, if they contained a show or ride.

You're welcome . The answer I was originally looking for was "19" - which counted each entertainment "feature"... Then when I went to count them on my own, I kept getting different numbers - usually getting lost in Communicore (what's an "attraction", etc, etc) . Once again I was trying to make LIFE too hard.

Right you are James, Mistake in the Lake ...er...Surprise in the Skies had these lovely daytime pastel coloured fireworks that only showed up if there was no breeze and not too sunny.
It wasn't a bad show actually. I kind of liked it.

A fifty-fifty chance here, I am going to say False. I think it would be too dangerous for a person to be on the barge.

I agree with Donna, with the heat I felt from way over in Japan I would think anyone onboard would be toast!

(ps. I'm out of touch - what is the latest after the explosion they had, wasn't it last summer? Piece of equipment went flying, lawyers sweating...)

I haven't yet, but would eventually love to do all the tours (like you!). Did DAK safari last year and loved it. My usual itinery includes a stopwatch and a race from park A to park B - with too little time scheduled in to stop and smell the...fire barge.
