OK, here's a toughie right from the beginning - how's your memory?
When the MK opened in 1971, how much did a General Admission ticket cost (no ride tickets)?? (That original ticket had a coupon for transportation from TTC to MK, and a coupon for actual park admission. - You could alternatively purchase an Adventure Ticket Book which contained the above plus a variety of ride coupons.

I fondly remember Merlin's Magic Shop on Main Street with my first visit in 1972. What store replaced it, and when??

I believe it was the Main Street Athletic Club... but boy i really miss the House of Magic... :(

Merlin's Magic Shop was never the name of a shop on Main Street, either in Disneyland or the Magic Kingdom. It was the name of a magic shop in Fantasyland from March 1972 to May 1986. It was replaced by Mickey's Christmas Carol.
The House of Magic was the name of the Main Street shop from Oct. 1971 to March 1995, when it closed to become part of the Main Street Athletic Club.
