When Hines Ward said, “I’m going to Disney World,” he also said, “and I’m taking The Bus.”
Jerome Bettis said, “I wasn’t sure it was going to happen. We had talked about the possibility but when it came about, it was a big honor for me. For Hines to bring me with him to Disney World, I mean you couldn’t ask for anything better.”
Ward said, “This is really what it’s all about. As a little kid you dream about playing in the Super Bowl and you always dream about and envision yourself saying those famous lines ‘I’m going to Disney World.’ And bringing Jerome down here with me, we’re both having a blast wearing our Mickey Mouse hats.”
Bettis said golf is next on his retirement agenda, and maybe even a little TV work.
