Hello and welcome to The WDW Radio Show – Your Walt Disney World Information Station. I am your host, Lou Mongello and this is show #128 for the week of July 19, 2009. Thank you for tuning in once again.

I recently attended the very first and very special D23 community for Disney fans tours of the Walt Disney Studios and Archives in Burbank, California. A true once in a lifetime experience, I wanted to share with you some of the details of the tour, what we saw and experienced in the Studios and in the legendary Walt Disney Archives. Three other attendees will join me on a roundtable discussion, as we talk about not just the tour and overall experience, but D23 as a whole.

In addition to painstaking recreations of ALL incarnations of the Great Movie Ride finale (scene by scene, frame by frame, from the DVDs), he also created the Pretty Good Movie Ride montage! Following the exact same layout and format as the original finale montage, Glenn does an AMAZING job of putting together “his own” version with classic clips from some “pretty good” movies!

This is a MUST SEE (more than once!) so check it out (and share the link!) Bravo, Glenn!! Impressive… MOST impressive!!!

LOCATION: Disney’s Boardwalk in front of Seashore Sweets(No theme park admission required)


We’ll start at 6:30 pm and likely head over to Epcot to watch Illuminations at 9:00 pm After Illuminations, who knows? Maybe we’ll head back to the Boardwalk to wander, grab some Beaches & Cream or even hit Jellyrollls later in the evening!
