Some of my favorite moments in Disney are when you find yourself in the right place at the right time.
Whether it’s stumbling upon a fireworks show walking from ride to ride or someone offering you an extra FASTPASS ticket they don’t need, positive moments when you least expect them always add a little cherry on top of your vacation.
On my recent trip to Disney World, we were looking for a place to grab a late dinner and chose Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café in Frontierland.
Once we got our food and sat down, we discovered a group a people gathering outside by the window we were sitting near.
Running from ride to ride throughout the day, we did not stop to look at the parade and fireworks schedule.
Right as I was taking my first bite of the food I ordered, I was hit with bright lights coming from the street outside of the restaurant and realized the Electrical Parade had just begun.
Sitting at a table to the left of the condiments in one of the dining room wings, we had a prime location to see the show while we ate. (Since the restaurant is inside, we were able to stay dry and avoid the rain that began to fall.)
It was a great surprise and we have made sure to add it to our “tips list” next time we make our visit to the Magic Kingdom.
Be sure to keep your eyes and ears open all the time because you never know what you will see or hear throughout your time in the parks!
Bonus Tip*: Pecos Bill is one of the few restaurants in the Magic Kingdom that allows you to dress your own hamburgers and sandwiches. For those of you who want more bang for your buck, take advantage of the unlimited condiments and toppings they provide.
What are some experiences you guys have stumbled upon while in the parks that have added that extra bonus to your vacation?
