Adventure Into The World of Yesterday, Tomorrow, and Fantasy: Disney Tip #7

by Peyton Spear

TIPS LOGOSince Magic Kingdom is the most visited park on Disney property, waiting in long lines in the heat may not seem very appealing to you.

Want to find a way to cool down, wait in shorter lines, and see a show at the same time? (and possibly nap…)

Here is my Disney tip for the week: the Enchanted Tiki Room, The Hall of Presidents, Country Bear Jamboree, and the Carousel of Progress will be able to provide all of these things for you.

All of the shows have very short lines, and I have never waited more than 15 minutes for any of them. Not to mention the air conditioning Disney provides in each theater. You may want a sweatshirt by the end of each show but that is the best part about it. Soak in all of the cold air while you can before heading outside.

The great thing about each show as well is that they all have their own characteristics, which provide a tiki-room-disney-worlddifferent experience if you choose to see all four.

I have also dozed off a number of times in a few of them, which makes for a great twenty-minute break in the day!

What is your go-to attraction or show when escaping the heat? Do you have any other favorites in another park besides Magic Kingdom?

Peyton is currently a student at the University of Mississippi majoring in Journalism with an emphasis in print. Growing up in Los Angeles and most recently moving to Atlanta, he has seen and experienced the best of both Disneyland and Disney World. Making his first visit to Disney World at the age of 5, he has never looked back as he entered the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy.
