Adventure Into The World of Yesterday, Tomorrow, and Fantasy: Disney Tip #62

AdventureHave you ever wanted to snorkel amongst tropical fish, stingrays and sharks?

Now is your chance at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park!

In 362,000 gallons of saltwater, jump into Shark Reef and enjoy breathtaking views of the manmade coral reef and sea life swimming below.

All you need is a snorkel, mask and optional life jacket that is included in your water park admission, so snorkeling does not come at an additional cost.

If you are 6 years or older, you are able to participate. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Shark Reef is about 10 feet deep so make sure you and your party are able to float across with or without a life jacket.Shark Reef - disney

Those who are not able to participate can stay dry by watching all of the snorkelers and amazing reef from a sunken tanker that gives you an underwater look from the portholes.

If you and your party would like a more in-depth look into Shark Reef, Supplied-Air Snorkeling is available from Hammer Head Fred’s Dive Shop at an additional charge. You do not need certification to participate.

Time do dive in!
