Hi everyone, it’s Ruby again! Today I want to cut to the chase because I’m just way too excited right now… Do you like © MARVEL comics? Collect comics or are just obsessed with anything Disney has to do with? Well if so, today I’m going to be talking about new Disney and © MARVEL comic series that I have checked out over the summer! I’ve just started getting into comics, and of course my favorites happen to be Disney ones! I’m excited to talk about these so let’s start.

Blarion Mercurial, a young inventor from Academy Scientifica-Lucidush, has had his mind put to work – by his boss Chairman Illocrant – to come up with an alternate energy force. YET instead he creates a figment of his imagination…. a purple dragon named Figment! Blair knows Figment isn’t practical enough for his boss, what happens if he finds out … ? I love these comics, it really brings to life the magical and childlike personality of Figment and the possibilities of imagination. This is a 5 issue series that ends in October.
2. SPACE MOUNTAIN
This is planned to be a 3 parter; the last one coming out in 2016. I haven’t bought this one yet, but it sounds so cool and I really want it. Check out this link to find out what Space Mountain is about, because I couldn’t say it any better myself!
3. SEEKERS OF THE WIERD
Maxwell and Melody Keep live above “Keep It Weird”, their parents curio shop. They couldn’t be more different – she hates homework, he does NOT do sports – but their strengths must be put to the test when their parents are kidnapped by the Shadow Society. Together they must go through the Museum of the Weird with an unfamiliar face to guide them. This five-parter, action packed series is based off of the attraction, Museum of the Weird, that was never built. Designed by the creative mind of Rolly Crump, it was planned to compliment the Haunted Mansion® in Disneyland®, but was tossed after Walt’s death. I bought a hard cover of all the SOTW comics in one at Barnes & Noble, and it comes with concept art, notes from people like Bill Rosemann, and an introduction from Rolly Crump!

So, that’s all the comics I’ll be talking about today. I think that every one of them has the potential to be very great and successful movie series! I hope you enjoyed today’s post, but before I leave I have some questions to ask you:
Do you have a personal favorite Disney or © MARVEL comic? Have you read any of the ones I have mentioned today? If not, do you plan on checking them out? Anything else you’d like to share?… Just tell me in the comment section below! I’d love to hear from you!
