TOPIC: The Rivers of America in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is more than a beautiful, serene waterway that carries guests to and around Tom Sawyer Island. It is a storytelling vehicle rich in history, detail and tributes to real American history and folklore, as well as Disney films and characters as well. It has it’s own, comprehensive backstory, and this week, I welcome you into Liberty Square and Frontierland, and aboard the Liberty Belle, as we virtually explore the history of the Rivers of America. We will discuss it’s current and former attractions, including the Mike Fink Keelboats and Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes, and some of its many wonderful details recorded LIVE inside the Magic Kingdom.
