For this week, Disney Tip #104, let’s head on over to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.
With the summer heat finding it’s way to Orlando, there is no better place to cool off than at a Disney water park.
After a recent trip to Typhoon Lagoon, two perks that made the experience that much more enjoyable were free parking and cooling sprinklers.
When visiting the four main theme parks, there is a parking fee per vehicle. At Typhoon Lagoon, parking is free since Cast Members cover the parking lot directing you where to park. I found this very easy to get in and out.
The cooling sprinklers were my favorite part. For those of you who have been to a water park in general, chances are you have found yourself tiptoeing across hot concrete under your feet. At Typhoon Lagoon, they have added cooling sprinklers in various parts of the park that cool the concrete and your body as you walk from ride to ride or stand in line.
