A note from Lou Mongello about this week’s show:
housandsForm June 1-7 more than 125 friends and members of the WDW Radio family gathered together in Vancouver for the start of a journey that would take us aboard the Disney Wonder to and through Alaska. The week’s events included special onboard activities for our group, including multiple presentations and drawing classes from our very special Guest Senior D char artist Ron Cohee. He shared his story and spent countless hours talking individually with guests and creating one of a kind drawings just for them at their request. We also had everything from welcome aboard parties to private dinners at Palo, contests, fish extender exchanges, nighttime metopes, pajama parties and much, much more.. Most of all, we had a ton of fun together both onboard and during our group excursions to Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan. On one of our final days at sea, we recorded a live show with a live (yet somewhat sleepy and a little bit heavier audience. Unfortunately, there were some technical issues with the recording, but after a few hours of taking, praying and editing, I was able to put together the best possible version of what took place during part of that day’s event. Apologize for quality of audio – not in keeping with standards I set for show but didn’t want to lose what we captured on board, as you simply can’t re-record it all over again. Edited out some parts that just don’t translate well into audio only, including our Disney Dictionary with me, Ron, and members of the audience, as well as Ron’s presentation on his time at Walt Disney Feature animation, Imagineering, Disneyland, etc. his drawing class, and our farewell party. But, literally t of photos and countless hours of video were taken. I will try and compiler and share ASAP with you. In the meantime, please excuse and forgive the audio quality, but hopefully this will make you feel as though you were sitting with us onboard, and maybe even encourage you to join us one of one out upcoming cruises or special events. Our next cruise is Feb 6-13 2016 – Star Wars and WDW Radio’s 9th anniversary on the Disney Fantasy. Get a free, no-obligation quote from MouseFanTravel.com who I’d like to thank again.
