Snow White – It’s Impactful Effect on All Disney Films and Villains Poll!

IMG_6893

IMG_7151Snow White and the Seven Dwarves is one of my favorite Disney movies for many reasons. First of all, it is the first feature length animated film… ever. Walt and the animators put so much hard work and creativity into it, the movie was a revolutionary creation! Also, it’s a musical. If you didn’t know already, I love musicals, AND not to mention, Snow White is my second favorite princess.

So you can only imagine how cool it is for me to be playing Snow herself.

I was recently cast in a production of a retelling of Snow White. It’s in a way, a parody, and I am playing Snow White! At first it was intimidating, but as I got better prepared, it became more fun. So, I frequently watch video clips from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and study her princess-y behavior.

IMG_1256This got me thinking about the film and it’s impact on all animated movies everywhere! Especially the film’s villain- The Evil Queen… She was the first Disney villain ever and a female, may I add. 😉 All villains afterward had to stand up to her level of evil and sneakiness. What shoes to fill! Her jealousy drives her to make many attempts to murder Snow White and, like most villains, eventually lead to her own doom. But, everyone can relate to villains in some way, that’s what makes them great characters. So, in this poll, tell me which you relate to most!
