With Christmas very nearby, I thought I’d post a craft this week.
Going with the Christmas theme, today I’ll be teaching you how to make a DIY Walt Disney World Christmas ornament using pressed pennies!
I always used to make pressed pennies when I was younger. I loved them so much and anytime we were at a Resort I had to get one! So, if you have a lot of old pressed pennies or even if you just started collecting them, you now have something to do with them.

– 1 Pressed penny from the Disney Parks or Resorts
– Hot glue gun
-Paint brush
-Craft paint (color of your choice)
-Wooden ornament
-Gold cord

Step 1: Choose a wooden ornament (you can find one at Michael’s).
Step 2: Pick a color of paint you’d like to use (I chose silver), and start to paint your ornament. Once it dries add a second or third coat, until you achieve good coverage.
Step 3: Once you’re done painting, choose the pressed penny you’d like to use. Attach it to the center of your ornament using a hot glue gun.
Step 4: When the hot glue cools off, pull your gold cord throughout the hole at the top and tie tightly.
AND NOW YOU’RE DONE!

That’s my craft! It’s very, very simple and personal, any Disney fan could appreciate it!
Do you collect pressed pennies? Have you been crafting a lot this year? Tell me in the comments below with any other thoughts you have! I’d love to hear from you.
