5. What year were the iconic (and delicious) waffle sandwiches added to Sleepy Hollow‘s menu?

  1. 2011 – The original menu for Sleepy Hollow featured drinks (soda, water, coffee, juice) as well as homemade ice cream cookie sandwiches. It wasn’t until 2011 that waffles debuted! In 2011, Mickey waffles were added to the already delicious sounding menu of funnel cake, chicken and wild rice soup, ice cream and drinks (iced coffee, ice coffee float, cappuccino and espresso). The waffle sandwiches proved to be an instant hit and many different variations have been seen and tasted over the years such as; the now retired Sweet and Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich, the retired Ham, Prosciutto and Swiss Cheese Waffle Sandwich, the sometimes offered Ham and Cheese Omelet Waffle Sandwich, and the special Valentine’s Day Black Forest Waffle Sandwich. Hungry guests are still able to enjoy the Nutella and Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich.
