WDW Radio Tip of the Week: Setting Up A My Disney Experience Account

Understanding the My Disney Experience website and app can make or break your Disney vacation. The website and app are pretty intuitive and easy to use, but there’s so much you can do that it can get overwhelming. How do you know you’re using it the it’s full potential?

Great question!


The first thing is to go to MyDisneyExperience.com to create a free account. There you can put in your personal information as well as that of your family members and anyone else in your party.


You can also customize each person’s profile with their favorite character and choose what color of MagicBand you want (if you’re staying on property). If you’re staying off property you’ll get hard, plastic tickets in the mail instead of MagicBands.


EpcotAfter that’s done you can link your ticket information and resort reservation (again, if you’re staying on property).
The next step in the process is to select your dining reservations (This can be done at [7:00] AM, 180 days prior to your arrival date.) and make your Fastpass+ reservations.  However, Fastpass+ selections cannot be made until 30 days prior to your arrival date (60 days if you’re staying on property).
