WDW Radio Show #545 – Extinct Stage Shows of Walt Disney World

One of my favorite aspects of Walt Disney World is the wide variety of live entertainment, and over the past nearly 5 decades we have seen different types of shows come to life on stage in the parks. From retellings of classic Disney animated films to some of the more…. “unique” concepts that included everything from a comic strip character from the 1930s to Barbie dolls, Chevy Chase and David Letterman, life size-Muppets, a Pet Detective, a sleeping bear, humanimals, a motorcycle circus in the skies over Epcot, talking turtles, and other characters that weren’t even FROM Disney… it made for an interesting array of offerings… and the subject of this week’s show, as we look at some of the Extinct Stage Shows of Walt Disney World.
