WDW Radio #584 – The History of Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Concept, Reality, and Opening Day: Part 2

WDW Radio 584 History Disney Animal Kingdom Concept Design Opening Day Part 2 POST

We continue with our detailed look at the history of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Opening Day on April 22, 1998. We’ll explore what the opening day looked like, from ceremonies to celebrities, to the first guests entering the park. We will also give you a virtual tour of the entire park, land by land and attraction by attraction, to give you a sense of what it was like to be there on opening day. We’ll look at each of the attractions, shows, and parades, and how they changed from original concepts to opening day, and how they compare to what we have today.
