You’ve seen the commercials. You’ve seen the Saturday Night Live skits. And, the Peloton seems to be in your future. Truly, it’s addictive once you get into it — just like Disney — and you’ll find yourself riding quite frequently.
The great thing is that you can combine both of these addictions and jam out to some Disney Tunes on a Peloton Ride.
In February 2021, the Peloton folks brought our bike into the household. I had purchased it before New Years Eve, and it was about a six-week wait time. I was also coming off a little procedure, so I searched for a low impact ride.
The class I found was a 10-minute Low Impact Ride hosted by Emma Longwell.
-Read the description, and didn’t realize that it showed the songlist further in the description page. (Directions? Who needs directions?)
-Clicked on this 10-minute ride, and the instructor started off by introducing the ride — it was Disney!
The ride started with Pocahontas as a warm-up (“Colors of the Wind”). It was a good song to start out with, as I was just getting into it. Then, the ride kicked into high gear with Aladdin’s “One Jump Ahead.” Did you know, singing while biking makes things go that much quicker?
Song #3 gave me a quick Flashback to Mickey’s Philharmagic – The Lion King’s “I Just Can’t Wait to be King.” Song #4 was “How Far I’ll Go” from Moana. For the cooldown, the final song was “I See the Light” from Tangled.
It was my first Peloton ride, and of course I had a blast. And, to be honest, the first thing I thought was “I have to write about this.”
