Princess Log: Entry 2
Well it’s been about a month since my first blog post where I announced to the Clubhouse fam and Disney universe that I was going to not only run the Princess Half 2022, but that I was going to chronicle my journey as well (talk about accountability!)
So let me update you on how things have been going thus far…
Since my last post, they have announced in person races are back! YAY!!!! The first one will be Wine and Dine weekend in November 2021. Wine and Dine just so happens to fall on an already planned visit “home.” So naturally, I signed up for the 10k! Anyone with costume suggestions, I’m open to ideas. Maybe I will let the Clubhouse pick my costume!!!
I also managed to sign up for a mini-triathlon — who am I these days??? I have been swimming and bought a bicycle. I hope that old saying about riding a bike is true… EEK! If it would ever cool off and stop raining I would be able to run more. I did try a 5am run since the RunDisney races are so incredibly early in the morning… Y’all, I live in the South and even at 5am it was hotter than a blister bug in a pepper patch!
My last Wine and Dine was 2011, back when it was a night race. Thanks to my bestie I made it through!
So fill me in, what are you doing that scares you? If you are running Wine and Dine, how’s the training going? Most importantly (not really), what should I be for Wine and Dine???

My name is Sarah Niswender and I have WDW in my veins, going to the parks several times per year as early as age 2. Growing up in SoFla I was fortunate enough to have a lifelong Disney education, thanks to my mother (and hardworking father)! I am now passing the love for everything Disney along to my daughter and somewhat reluctant husband. I have participated in several runDisney events and am looking forward to participating as a part of the WDWRadio running team. See you on Main Street USA!
