It’s a time old question – what to do on a rainy day in Walt Disney World? Sure, you can throw on a Disney-branded poncho and brave the elements in the theme parks, but if you’d rather keep dry, there’s loads of activities around “the World” to check out.
One of my family’s favorite time killers is exploring all the different arcades at the resorts. There are 20 different resort arcades on property and they surprisingly vary widely in space and game quantity. No two arcades are created equally.
Our personal favorite is the Pixel Play Arcade found at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. This arcade is located in Animation Hall across from the Ink & Paint Shop and is normally open from 8:00 am until 11:00 pm. Large, spacious, clean and packed full of games, Pixel Play Arcade is an awesome place to have some low-key family fun.
