Last year, for the very first time, we came together as the WDW Radio Walking Team for the Walk For Wishes at Lake Eola Park… and it was AMAZING.
The turnout, the energy, the laughter, the sea of blue shirts, the hugs, the new friendships, the generosity, and the overwhelming sense of purpose reminded me exactly why I love this community so much. Together, we raised funds, shared stories, took lots of photos, and helped make real magic happen for children and families who need it most.
So this year, we’re doing it again… and I want to invite (and challenge!) you to help make it even bigger and better.
🌟 What We’re Walking For
For years, the WDW Radio Running Team and the Dream Team Project have come together to support Make-A-Wish. Thanks to your kindness and commitment, this community has raised more than $550,000 to help grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
And now, as a member of the Walk For Wishes Committee, I’m even more excited (and motivated!) to bring the WDW Radio family together again in 2026. Whether you’re part of the Clubhouse, the Running Team, Momentum, a longtime listener, or a brand-new friend… you belong here with us.
