Some people say opposites attract, but if you are a Disney person, you know that Disney people are the best people and while we may be opposites in many ways, we are all kindred spirits in our love of the Mouse.
As any true blue Disney person knows, it is imperative to have someone in your life that loves everything Disney as much as you do — your Disney bestie. This person can be your spouse, friend, parent, or random person you meet in line at one of the parks or cruise ships!
Indulge me if you will, because much like talking about Disney, I love sharing stories about my Disney besties! I have been blessed to have a mother who introduced me to the world of Disney. She would talk about Disney with me for hours and encouraged my doodles for the 5 minutes I wanted to be an animator for Disney. She took me to have AMAZING experiences both in and out of the Parks. We got to do cell painting, stop animation, topiaries and claymation at the Disney Institute (RIP).
The other person I am lucky to call my Disney Bestie is my best friend from high school. She is the person I can watch any Disney movie with and we will know every word and do the voices (my husband and 5-year-old hate when I do that). She is also a person that I was able to share my WDW education with and we can celebrate and commiserate when we love, or disagree with something that the Company does.
Thinking about my mom and friend it got me thinking about the Disney besties on screen and in the parks. So I give you the top 10 (and some honorable mentions) Disney besties from the screens to the parks and everything…. Oh wait, that’s Lou’s line, but you get the idea!

My name is Sarah Niswender and I have WDW in my veins, going to the parks several times per year as early as age 2. Growing up in SoFla I was fortunate enough to have a lifelong Disney education, thanks to my mother (and hardworking father)!
